Bought these to use on our dining chairs, seem to work well sliding nicely over carpet. Would like to add a few of these broke while installing to the chair legs so buy some extras. Tap in carefully or pre-drill a pilot hole of the correct size.

I started off with adhesive pads/glides, but they all eventually came off when the chair was moved under load, so I have replaced them with these pins - I drilled small holes in the bases of the chair legs (the correct dia of the nails) and they work a treat.

used these to replace existing felt pads on dining chairs. Much more effective and don't come unstuck.

The ones that didn't break as they were being hammered in work fine.

After trying felt and other types of chair pads to stop scraping chairs on wooden floors i discovered these teflon type and keep buying more as i add to the feet and legs of furniture on hard floors and on carpet.
